Just got back from it myself. Totally over the top throughout, but still a worthy flick. I'd see it again. The end definitely hit home because I've aged with the series from being a dumbass 21 year old car hooligan to being in my mid 30's with 1 youngster & another on the way.

Once I'm out of the hospital, I'm going to see the movie in the best option I can.
Like the OP, a little younger, I've grown up with these movies. This franchise of movies, has spawned an entire industry. Well at least helped it in some way.
It's been 14-15 years since the first movie, and this is the single handed classiest thing they could have done. I was in tears watching it on my Facebookfeed. PERIOD.
They honored his character in the movies and him as a person with that short excerpt. It's been a long time coming, but it was well worth the wait.
If you don't like the movies, move on. Be an adult and keep your opinion to yourself .

"We are going to need some long travel suspensions and limited slip differentials"
I liked the tribute as well. It was written in nicely to the end.

I saw it on the afternoon it opened.
It was a decent movie to kill a few hours. Cinematic masterpiece? No, but fun nonetheless.
I liked the way they sent Paul's character off, but it still seemed as though they left it open for his character in future movies.
If I had any problem with the movie it would be that I'm beginning to think the crew is invincible, and the end sequence was a little bit far fetched, even for a F&F movie.

While it was definitely a little over the top, it kept me entertained throughout the movie.

they really did kill it with the end. Really enjoyed the movie a lot. Definitely was over the top, lots of crazy things that had me thinking "no way" but still entertaining.

What the hell are you talking about?
I never said anything about the movie. I want to see it myself.
I was just commenting on the state of that NSX.
